I was wondering if multiple HotHeads can be run off a 20lb propane tank? If so, what is the maximum amount?

You can probable run 2-3 but the cost of hoses and plumbing parts is going to get really expensive...... I really have to say I do not think it is even practical....

When I took basic beadmaking the instructer had several hotheads running off 1 bulk tank using a manifold, I'm thinking maybe 6 or more.

Hi, I know Sundance sells a y splitter that goes on the end of your hose, then you can run 2 inline for sure

Thank you all for responding... I'm looking to run about 6 off 1 tank if possible. Still would like more feedback for others who may have seen this done. If you have I would love to get in contact with the person who has (to be sure I am doing it properly).

There is a company here that does all the fittings and hoses for propane and natural gas. The they did all my hoses, pipes, extra shut offs and what nots for my minor. The were very reasonable, compared if I purchased all the bits myself from glass suppliers and assembled it.

I think 6 hotheads might freeze the tank, but maybe not. You might have better luck with a 10 or 20gal tank.

Contact Arrow Springs. They set up classrooms like this all the time. I know that Craig will know exactly what you need.
