Just wondering , Why do does it seem like more people use Moretti rods
than vetrofond? is there a reason for this?
Also, they are compatable aren't they?

Yes, they are compatible. I use both. Moretti usually has more colors so maybe that's why some people use more moretti.

Moretti's been around longer -- I've heard Vetrofond is a family member who took off on his own with the receipes.

And I think there's something about how they distribute to the US that makes it easier for suppliers to get Moretti, but I could be wrong on that one.

Moretti has been around longer and they have a wider range of colors - vetrofond hasn't made all the colors moretti has yet.

I just think that Effetre is easier to get, sold by more suppliers and more familiar. To tell the thruth, my Vetrofond is all mixed up in my Effetre and I don't know which color is E and which is V.
