Simple question (earrings)

Hi everyone! I am earring challenged! These suckers can't be THAT difficult to make! Can someone recommend a book(let)? Is there an Earrings for Dummies book? :shock:

What about recommending a teacher? I live in SE Massachusetts

Awww, Duane, you can do it! Just take a headpin and start putting beads on it - try taking a lampwork bead and pair it with a couple of matching Swarovski crystals and some pretty beadcaps - wirewrap it to some ear wires and viola!

But, there is a cute earring book I bought for inspiration at Michaels called "Perfect Match" by Sara Schwittek - all earrings and really cute ideas.

Or, go to a site like Fire Mountain and check their inspiration pages.

You can find lots of easy beginner mags at Hobby Lobby or Michaels w/ basic instructions - like Bead Style. Lots of easy books there, too. Good luck!

I learned how to make all sorts of jewelry with that job I had with Erica Lyons costume jewelry. It was fun, and I learned a lot.

I'm not a big fan of Fire Mountain Gems company, but they have some jewelry making tuts on their website, I think.
