Suggestions for silver amethyst frit?

Does anyone have any color combinations that work well with silver amethyst frit? I got some last night and it is really pretty, even just melted onto the end of a transparent rod, but I'm just wondering if anyone has had any good results with a particular color of base glass? I use 104 COE.

I use silver amethyst and other silver frit (green, blue, clear, etc.) to make faux boro beads. I pull stringer with straw yellow rolled in the silver frit mixed with some iris frit. Decorate, encase and voila! I like striking red, candy apple or sangre for the base. :)
