I want to try some of the Reichenbach colors, but I need some help. Which colors give the best results? I want the really intense colors. Should I go with the transparent or opaque? The ones that reduce or not? I'm really confused.
Cindy has some tips and examples of Reichenbach colors on her web site:

That's a great link.
For the really intense colors, use the transparents in tiny thin amounts over the base glass. The rods look basically black when you start. And if you want the intense colors, I'd stay away from the reducing to start -- or at least wouldn't reduce them!.
For pinks, I've heard to stay away from the Copper Ruby, that it's a little muddy, but that Gold Ruby is great.
Iris Gold, Iris Gold, Iris Gold! It's one of the transparents and is a good color to start with. You can leave it the pretty transparent amberish color it is or you can make raised dots and reduce them - leaving a nice little bit of sparkle all over. You can get chunks from Val Cox to make stringer or you can get frit to just roll your bead in. Try it! You'll like it! :-)
