How long can I wait before I anneal a bead? Is there some sort of time limit?

You are talking batch annealing, right? No time limit, as long as it doesn't crack then, what's the point of annealing. :)

Do it as soon as possible. Just think of them as little treasures that are ready to explode and you have no way of knowing when their timers are set to go off.

Lara and Eric,
Thanks for the feedback! I've been lampworking exactly 6 months today and I don't have a kiln yet. Hoping to get one soon :)

Just keep them in a safe place till you are ready to anneal them.

Susan,

If their little beads you can wait a long time if their in a "safe place" like Sassy says. But I was so relieved to finally get my annealer. It's all done in one step and you can move up to "larger" beads that won't go into a blanket. I love mine! Here's hopin the annealer fairy will come to your house*#!^% :)

Good luck,

Peggy
