Help with some Colors - Gaffer

Has anyone tried the Gaffer Chameleon (G-138 ). On the Olympic Color Rod site it says it goes from blue and green. I was able to get a tiny bit of green when I used it today on the rod, but not on the bead, just looked like periwinkle blue. I was so excited to try it, but disapointed with my results. :(

Similar questions about Gaffer Mushroom (g172). Any tips?

I did try a little. I got mostly periwinkle, but it does have green striations in it, kind of like ivory gets when you cook it for a while. I had better luck encasing it to get several colors.

Thanks Dogmaw. I'll have to try encasing it. I did try clear dots on top of the blue, but it didn't do it.

Bummer. I don't have any other advice. Maybe someone else does?

I find the colour change is from the temperature change.
