Anyone care to share their swirling techniques?

Well, if you swirl really gently and slowly, instead of shaking, you won't spill your drink. but it might not get mixed as well. :D

Actually, are you talking about swirling frit into a bead? To do that I basically heat and let the glass drip all over and move around and it swirls it pretty nicely

Is this what you're talking about?

Oops, I forgot to put this part: if it is just put your colors on randomly, melt in and then use a pick or stringer to swirl them around!

I use small stringers (what I call my screwdrivers) that I pull no more than 3-4" with my tweezers, thus I have a handle to screw (rotate) my stringers.

My signature beads are swirlies!! :D

I realize there are more types of swirling (on beads!!) than you could define. Just wanted some ideas of others techiques. I have used all kinds, some with better results than others and some of that depends on what you are swirling - frit, dots, random colors.
Hey Krista, where in South Carolina are you? I'm off the coast by Charleston.
Thanks gals!
BTW, I like mine shaken - not stirred!
