Not really a safety issue but I thought I'd post it here...would extreme cold weather (sub-zero) affect tank pressure in a bulk tank of propylene...or any gas for that matter.....Dale are you around?

The only information I can find says Propylene freezes at 345 Deg F. Cold may have a effect but my guess it is not cold enough in most regions to seriously effect how torch operates...
Propane is a different matter, as cold increases pressure in propane tank decreases. As propane cools it looses it ability to boil of liquid into a gaseous vapor, this causes pressure to drop. Some where about -50 deg F. the process stops so you effectively do not have any propane gas pressure.
