I'd like to try some Bullseye glass rods, especially for the pinks and purples, but I am having a hard time finding a vendor who has them available. Do I have to buy directly from Bullseye?

Thanks!

I think Reenie has them, and she's an absolute doll to work with!\\:D/

No. There are several vendors in BE. These are personal favorites:

If you can't find what you're looking for let me know. I keep a supply of all the standard rods since that's all I use.

I'm actually looking for pinks and purple, mostly. A lampworker I met a few months ago had GORGEOUS colors in her beads and she said it was all Bullseye. I really want to find a pink that is cotton-candy colored, and a similar purple shade...rich and bright.

Could you recommend any colors that might be what I'm looking for?

My favorites are:

B0421 Petal Pink (Opalescent) = a baby pink color
B0305 Salmon Pink (Opalescent) = I use this one for tongues sometimes
B0301 Pink (Opalescent) = This is the pink I used in my Ratsputin for his hands and feet. It's also the pink I prefer to use for tongues and the inside of ears.
B1215 Light Pink Striker = My favorite translucent pink

B0334 Gold Purple (Opalescent) = Beautiful deep purple
B1234 Violet Striker (Translucent) and
B1334 Gold Purple (Translucent) = I use these two purples equally and they're both gorgeous.

Ya know Arrow Springs is still having their clearance sale on all Bullseye rods, you might want to give it a look see To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. at 50% off you're getting it at wholesale.

I carry the full line of Bullseye rods on my site at lower prices than Bullseye, and you can buy by the rod! I only charge actual shipping, no handling fees, no minimum order and you get a free gift w/each order! :) Additional price breaks at $100 and $200, also! :)

I love the bullseye colors but can they be used with other frits that are not the same coe as bullseye?

The same applies to Bullseye as the 104 line. I can't remember the exact percent but it's like 5 up to 15% from what I've been told. I have used 96 frit (multicolor) on bullseye rods with no problem. Not sure what it would be with 104 COE frit but I think the 96 frit is much more saturated!

Kalera would be a good resource to ask about this particular subject.

The furnace glass frits are more compatible with Bullseye than the 104 rods.
