A couple of years ago (at least), I bought some glass from overseas. I didn't write down the name of the manufacturer, but I did manage to at least label the glass with the color names ... flamingo, poppy, and watermelon. Sound familar to anyone? I'd like to find out the COE so that I don't have any issues with it.

Thanks!!

Poppy and watermelon are 104 - vetrofond I think.

Hmmmm ... okay, maybe I mis-labeled it then. I'll have to take pictures later and see if it looks similar to someone else's poppy and watermelon.

Anyone know who made the Flamingo? It's a nice creamy pink.

Flamingo is a Kugler 104 color that was out a couple of years ago - it's a pale pink color.

I bought some poppy from Glassdaddy - they were the first to have it for sale, if I recall correctly. Could that be where it came from?

No, these guys were in England or somewhere in that vicinity (if my memory is right).

it wasn't glassdaddy (I just went and looked at their site) - it was a vendor in Belgium I got mine from.

Those were from Quinton at www.glassworks.be in Belgium.

i found the original tag still on one of my watermelon rods - it was Glassworks and it is Vetrofind odd.

And I think watermelon was called poppy here in the US

The Flamingo that Kugler made was 104. I'll have to see if I have any beads made with it.
