I've made a few hollow beads turned fish and they worked out without a hitch. I haven't made any for awhile and now I can't burn the holes through! I think it was so easy to burn the holes in the hollow because my hollows sucked and had thin spots in the walls. Now I've practiced my hollows and my walls are even and I can't blow the holes out! I keep making deformed fish because I have to fight with it to make a hole. I tried the tungsten pick and it just mashes it in without a hole. Help help help!!!

You can heat your tungsten pick and poke a hole with that. Kinda wiggle it around a bit to enlarge the hole if need be.

Makes sure your glass is warm...but not too hot ... or the tungsten will stick..... Beeswax works good to help the tungsten slide thru .....
