Has anyone sandblasted raku? Pics? Or even etched.

I've etched it... looks cool. Was thinking about seeing what's underneath with my blaster, but decided to wait for my flat lap, so I could polish it. Let us know what you find under the surface. :)
Not sure I'll go that deep (to see what's underneath, if anything). I'm working some things up for more electroforming, and want to use Raku as a base. I haven't been at the torch since teaching last weekend, and MUST get at it today. I have to get three more pieces done for an exhibit, and I need to ship them early next week. Eek.

Get on it girl. ;) I think the etching or blasting will do just fine for ya. Show us what you come up with... :D
I etch the frit all the time. It looks great. Sometimes you have to do it twice because for some reason it leaves a shiny spot on it.
I love raku etched, but I've never sandblasted or faceted it to see underlayers.
Here are some pics of etched raku.

This is a bead of etched raku on Opal yellow. I find that it etches very nicely and holds it's color really well.
