Okay, I could work with rubino just fine on my HH.
Now I have an O2 and propane setup. When I pull my rubino stringers they just end up clear. The color is ending up bright pink like I want on the end of the rod after I pull the stringers but the stringers are coming out clear.
I'm working it way out in the flame and I also tryed adding more o2 to the flame. No luck.
any ideas?
Thanks for your help.

If you're losing the pink color, you're working the glass too hot and burning out the color. Try turning down your propane and oxygen both, and work the glass way out in the flame.

To keep rubino's deep pink color, you have to be patient with it and work it slower and cooler than other colors.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, I'll try turning them both down. I was just turning the O2 up to add more and leaving the propane where it was.
I'm going to go try it now.
thanks

When I pull mine in stringers it goes clear too. When I apply it to the bead.. let it cool and then gently reheat the pink comes back.

Is it wrong to get clear stringers?
