I was wondering what size Mandrels most use for Pandora sized beads for silver coring? Also who is a good supplier for them because I am having a heck of a time finding any? I have heard 1/4 inch and 3/16 from some lampworkers. Any help would be appreciated. Also where do most of you get your silver tubing from? Thanks
Cheers Michelle

3/16" ... these size work best.
You can core with 1/4" and have room to spare (plus the 1/4" tubing is more available - Rio etc), but I think is a little "roomy".
Get the right sized 3/16" tubing from Indian Jewelers (can't believe I am recommending them after the owner had a homophobic rant on a jewelers forum a few years ago and haven't bought from them since - but perhaps it's a good time to let bygones be bygones) ... or Gingko here on LE - her LE shop (Indian Jewelry is where she first arranged to have them made).
If you do a little more research you should be able to find the IJS (Indian Jewlery Supply stock #) for the correct size.
I hope that helps.
