How come neither of you mentioned that it's IMPOSSIBLE to make an ugly bead with Caliente glass? It's true. I swear it.

Aww man, I really didn't need to know that! I've been "on the fence" about trying some. . .aww man!

Thanks Tink!

P.S. Does this glass play nice with Uroboros and PI glass?

I've never even tried Gaffer cane when it was all the rage (still is, I'm sure, I just don't have the $$), and I would LOVE to try the Caliente cane. The colors look so rich! Plus, my tons of frit....I could have SO much fun, lol! :D

I love Caliente. I have it in every color... gorgeous with frits... and I can encase it in my Uroboros clear. LOVE it!

Caliente ROCKS, it plays well with all the other 96 COE glass (I've tried it all, I promise) and I love it. Between Caliente, GG Glass goodies, and Val Cox's Gaffer flavors, I keep wondering WHY I still use Moretti (I think it's that coral stuff, but some days I'm not sure).

This bead has a base of Caliente Sunset Red wrapped in Gail's gorgeous black latticino.

Edited to add: All that sexy 93-96 COE frit was MADE to go with Caliente glass!

lol ! Hey Tink, I never tried it before yesterday ! You're right, gorgeous stuff ! Lovin' it for sure ! I made a few hollows with it - yummy ! Gonna try all the colors before I place a "real" order !

Karen, that is one GORGEOUS bead ! I love it !

Thanks for all the info you all. Glad to hear it plays well with frits, other glass, etc.

DagNabIt! Now you've gone and done it, Karen! In fact this whole thread is making the glass that I've been trying to resist so luscious, I don't think I'm going to be able to stay on my glass-diet! :-)
