I just bought one! I'm so excited! The stargazer lily is my Favorite flower!!!!!
Ever since the first time I seen you make these I've always wanted to try. Actually , I think I did try but really sucked at it. As i do at most sculptural stuff. So I'm really looking forward to learning the skills to do floral sculptures.
I haven't looked at it yet, as I'm too high on painkillers at the moment. Maybe tomorrow.
oohhh I just read your facebook, I hope your alright Shari!!!.... must be extremely painful!!!
Hopefully you'll be back up on your feet soon!!

Margie's bead just looks great!!.... I knew she would pick up the tutorial easily!!
That looks like a ripper of a tute! I better support one of my fave locals I suppose.eh? Well Done that Woman!
Just ordered mine! It looks like a great tutorial, can't wait to get it.
Thanks for doing this Sally.
Just got my first one out of the kiln - and I'm really pleased - I'll take a pic later and post it. The instructions are fantastic - very clear and precise. I highly recommend this tutorial to anyone who likes florals.
Here is a picture of my first Lily - I am so pleased with how it turned out. This is a great tutorial! Thanks Sally.
Woo hoo! Just bought mine. I am so floral challenged I can't wait to try it.
I just noticed that my bead has cracked on the petals. :(
I used effetre rubino over effetre white for the petals, and the rubino has cracked. Does anyone have any idea why? Perhaps I should have given it even more of a heat bath before I put it in the kiln - I thought I did though.
I'll see if the one I made yesterday gets cracks too.
Yeah this may happen sometimes in the early days.. its is about how much you bathe the bead & its petal layers before putting it into the kiln...
keep at it!!!
Thankyou everyone for your support!!!
Hi Sally, here is my first attempt at your tut, I need to get it more in the center, but it ia a wonderful tut! thanks again.

I just wanted to pipe in here and say what a great instructor Sally is. We had a lovely beady weekend in Sydney recently and Sally demoed her star gazer bead. Since I just had to try it myself, I came up with this. It will be going to my mother who loves lilies along with another bead that I made with Sally's butterfly murrini.
Wow thankyou Tammy!!... what a great weekend that was!!!

I am going to bump this. I really need to thank you. I purchase so many lampwork tutorials that it took me awhile to get to yours.
I am focussed on learning some sculptural floral skills so I have been going through all my tutorials trying to figure out some issues I was having. Yours gave me a few light bulb moments! I actually have my first bead in the kiln and I believe it is good enough to wear, woot!
I was really stuck on a few issues. Thank you so much! This will hopefully help me move onto some of my own designs.
Duhhh! I've been struggling to do these by myself, and all along, here we are
Edited to say that I've now got it and can't wait to start playing :-D Thank you
Thanks Guys! :).....Im so glad its helped....the lily actually a while to "get right

Im actually now in the middle of finally writing another 2 tutes!!....so hopefuly everyone loves them as much!! lol....
I just ordered mine. Can't wait to try it! I'm floral challenged, so I'm sure I will learn something! Thank you, Sally. BTW... What other tuts are you working on?
