Will this O2 concentrator put out enough for a Mini CC or a Lynx?
It's a regular Onyx, not an Onyx+, as far as I can tell. Would the 30 gal. holding tank be necessary? Required?
Here is the data sheet on it:

I checked over on the Airsep site and it looks like this generator has almost the same specs as the Airsep AS-12. (12 SCFH, 0-9 psig) Yep, it's a generator rather than a concentrator too. I would think that it would be awesome with the Mini CC or the Lynx! Supposedly they have more "oomph" than the OG-15. I have the higher pressure model (AS-12A which puts out 15-18psi), which of course, was more $$$. I have a small holding tank for mine, and this machine is really overkill for a small torch and will easily power up two of them.
Supposedly my high pressure one will power up a Cheetah or Barracuda without a problem. Now that excites me, lol! I have a Bobcat too and if I turn up the oxygen too much it blows real hissy and creates a crazy "flower" like flame! Yeah, it's a little much for these little torches, but it won't hurt them! Boro and the Bobcat is wonderful! :D
I think that the holding tank is necessary because when these machines cycle, they "breathe". The tank regulates the flame, and not another problem since I hooked that up. I'm not sure what size my tank is, it's a small portable size. I bought it along with the generator but didn't use it right away.
Here's someone you can ask anything about Airsep's machines, he's awesome! Armand @ 1-800-235-6185 (you will love his accent, lol!) He's been dealing with the Airsep company for many years through a corporation named B.T.E.S. If that's not the right number, let me know...I will get it for you.
Hmmm...I'm about the only person other than Laurie Copeland that has a generator like mine.
Tink, is this where you checked and got that link?

Spec sheet says 10-12 SCFH (standard Cubic Feet Hour)...
http://www.airsep.com/airsepcpd/pdfs/ONYX_mk167_1.pdf
IF you do the math, its about 4.7 LPM... to 5.6 LPM..
http://www.ibdprince.com/metric.shtml#pressure
Note: use FLOW.... cu.ft/hour
Its right up there with average medical concentrator...

If that's the case, then I would say that your friend would probably be happier if she added a second unit. I have heard that people prefer two 5lpm machines (or one 10 lpm machine) to one 5 lpm machine for the Lynx.
I'm currently running a Lynx with a 10 lpm, 9 psi unit (Integra10) and like it a lot.
