okay so im buying a GTT Cheetah soon in about 2 months and i have an OXG-M5
(Flow Setting:
0 - 5 lpm
Operating Pressure:
5 - 7 psi)
thats its specs and i was wondering would it run on that if not would it run on 2 of those linked orr.... would it run on one of these
and OXG-M20
(Flow Setting:
0 - 10 lpm
Operating Pressure:
16 - 18 psi)
now i dont want 2 of the OXG-m20s because it would set me back around 2 grand so im wondering if either of those 3 options would work and if not what would. if it is getting 2 OXG-M20s then break the news to me :P
Neither of those options will fully power this torch.
I'm running a Cheetah on 12 lpm (more or less) and that doesn't give me close to 100% of the torch capability.
Also the cheetah is happier on at least 9 psi. The lower psi of the first option won't give a very driving flame.
Now with my set-up, (12 lpm and 9-10 psi) I can work all the soft glass I want, and boro pendants up to 2 inches easily. I haven't done any boro marbles on this set-up so I can't speak to that.
I will say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cheetah (over the Lynx that I've used before)

just use tanks, the initial outlay is very cheap.

oxy costs alot plus i dont want to have the danger of an oxy tank at my parents house right now a propane tank is enough 0.0
I was using a baracuda on 2 M-20's. It worked fine but was not at capacity. This was my set up before I purchased a scorpion.
I did try my cheetah on this same set up and it did not have enough O2 to run properly. This was not a good flame on this set up.
I would suggest you pay a little more and get the scorpion. That runs perfect on 2 M-20's and actually does fine on one M-20 concentrator. There is no way the cheetah would run on one concentrator. You could buy one and use the scorpion and then later when you have the money buy a second concentrator. It is very common for people to have 2.
I think the M-20 is now called the M-15?

does the scropion have the same sized flame as the cheetah or is it smaller?
im just taking aguess but im guessing the scorpions maximum flame is arounnd... 1-1/2" ?
The scorpion is bigger! Much stronger too.
The scorpion has the cheetah beat hands down.
The flame on my cheetah is very weak compaired to my Scorpion!
The outer ring produces a very strong and large flame.
Even stronger then my barracuda on the same concentrators.
Do you realize the Scorpion is a step up from the Cheetah and operates with a bigger flame that is much more adjustable then a cheetah?
It also costs about $100 more...
