Presses?

i want to buy a couple of presses, a lentil and a square.

what is the best size lentil for focal beads - i'm thinking 1" or slightly bigger
I dont want the lentil too thin - who makes the best one?
i want a square or a rectangle where the hole goes through the top edge not the center - is there one made like this?

Lentils are lovely shapes, but the traditional lentil can be a little tricky to press. a straight sided lentil (often called spree, I believe) is much easier. Stay away from the slim ones if you don't want it too thin.
