I would like to try out some uroboros (sp) and was wondering if anyone sells it by the rod? And who the best suppliers as far as price are? I have been browsing for about 2 days now and am having a hard time figuring out whats best.

http://www.flamedame.com

Paula sells it by the rod.

Here is a link to the Opals... I don't know if this will work for you, or if it has some shopping cart stuff embedded.

Gaffer glass is also a 96 coe. Not sure if they sell it by the rod though. http://www.gafferglassusa.com/

I love Gaffer; my next big glass purchase will probably be a large order of Gaffer glass. I do wish they'd put actual real samples on the website to help judge the colors better, though.

And yes, you can buy single rods (the website says "canes") from Gaffer.

Okay thank you! I did place an order with Flamedame and picked up a couple rods of striking 104 coe that I wanted to try with my big girl torch also! I will give the uroboros a try and maybe try the gaffer the next time around. And I have heard good things about reichenbach also.

Flamedame is great. Another good source is Howacoglass.com.

What are you trying for with the Uro. What techniques or colors are you going for?
