What if I bought a kiln that did not have a digital control?
Will I be sorry that I did not spend the extra $$$?
Is there any one out the that uses a kiln with out a digital control? (I think it's called an infinite switch?)
Can you share with me your thoughts? How do you hold at a certain temp? How do you ramp up or down? Will I have to actually have to stay next to it and watch it manually start to finish?
Thanks Cyndi

I have had a Lg. Ceramic kiln with only a infinity switch.
OK for ceramics...Still have to watch it.
To anneal glass you would really have to babysit it.
Spend the extra money and get the controller.
I just ordered a Chillie Pepper Kiln. It should be delivered Thursday.
Can't wait!

I have a hotbox kiln w/ infinity switch. It took me a while to figure what to set it at for each stage of annealing and the temp. is approximate not exact. And every stage you have to go and manually set. It has worked but it is a pita. I ordered this weekend a chili pepper kiln. And I am excited not to have to babysit anymore!!
