My sale was final today. I will be getting my "experienced" oxycon by the end of this week. I am going to need a few items for it. Can anyone tell me the name of the item that I have circled in my photo? It's where the oxygen hose hooks up to the concentrator. Right now it has a plastic device that the hose to an oxygen mask slides unto. I have brass fittings on the ends of my hoses. I want to get a brass fitting that can replace the plastic one on the machine.

I am also in need of a fuel regulator. My loaded question is; Can one be purchased through Harbor Freight or a local welding supply?

Do I need flashback arrestors?

You should be able to unscrew the plastic fitting, revealing a threaded outlet. You can screw your brass fitting onto that.

As for your fuel regulator, yes, you can buy them at a local welding shop and maybe your local Harbor Freight. You can use an acetylene regulator for propane (they tend to be less expensive), too.

A little to add to Kimberlys comment...

Below is plastic "Christmas Tree" adapter that should unscrew off oxy connection...

Dale, I can't count the times that you have come to my aid through the years when I have had questions. I always appreciate your input. These extra visual tools, (photos), really helped ease my anxieties over this. I'm sure that when I get the concentrator, I'll have more questions. Thank you both Kim and Dale.
