Do you mean "bulk" propane?

If you are in US, lots of hoses and fitting out there....... Any hardware or camping goods store will have proper hoses or fittings....

Tuffnell's sells them in the UK. (See here (http://www.tuffnellglass.com/contents/en-uk/d100.html) and scroll down a bit for the connector on its own).

Regulator is going to kill HH performance unless it capable of 60 -80 PSI (4.1 to 5.5 bar) that is minimum pressure HH will work with... Flashback arrestor is not needed because of torch design. The actual physical design prevents any flames from traveling back down torch neck to tank...

BE AWARE that HH operates best at full tank pressure approximately 127 PSI ( 8.7 Bar) at approximately 70° f. (21.1° c.) any hoses or connections should be meet pressure specification of PSI 300 (20.6 bar). Barbed connection and clamps is not a good connection, any hoses should have threaded connector on ends and ferrule should be machine crimped. Its a safety issue... High pressure propane is dangerous if it gets "loose"...

I do not consider the barbed connector to be used with any old hose and clamp from TUFFNELLS to be a safe option....

Check with bulk propane supplier and find out what the "standard" design tank connector is ( in US its CGA 510) and go from there. There is options for a connector that will fit torch and then you may have to convert threads on connector to a hose and connector (inch to metric) that will get you connected to bulk tank..

Connector for torch.... McMaster Part # 7976A22 ( welding hose connection on hose side)...

http://www.mcmaster.com/ctlg/DisplCtlgPage.aspx?ReqTyp=CATALOG&CtlgPgNbr=3361&CtlgEdition=116&ScreenWidth=1024&McMMainWidth=819

Or...MR Heater... (US pipe thread connection on hose side)...

http://www.mrheater.com/product.aspx?catid=356&id=66

These can get you "connected" to torch ... How to get a hose attached and for a tank connector (European?) you my have to rely on some local talent to get it together....

Be aware there is more to connector than just cutting some threads in a chunk of brass... There is a seal and Schrade valve in connector neck to prevent free flow of propane if hose is connect to tank and turned on and torch is not attached...

We have to use regulators on propane tanks in the UK. 0-4 bar ones, generally, so that's around 60 psi. Our HotHeads do work fine on them.

my partners very aware of health and safety in a busy professional workshop, your not allowed to use propane without a regulator in uk.Weve decided to use that adaptor from tuffnels as we find that suitable for my needs ,he wouldnt let me use anything he thought would be dangerouse thanks again for all your input parin
