I have the opportunity to take Michael's class at the end of April. My question is...will it be worth it for me, since I use Bullseye glass almost exclusively? Isn't most of what he teaches based on color reactions that I will most likely not be able to achieve with Bullseye's less reactive color line?

I took a class from Michael several years ago when I was fairly new to lampworking. It was fantastic! Yes, alot of what he does (or did at that time) involved reactions, but in no way do I think you'd be disappointed. I've never used Bullseye, but I'd think you'd be able to apply so much of what you'd learn to any glass. And, it might open up the whole new world of Effetre to you that you might want to explore more at some point.
I was so new when I took his class that I'm signed up for another one from him later this year. He's been doing so many new things since the last one that I know I'll be learning so much more.
In general, I don't think anyone can go wrong in taking a class with a beadmaker/instructor of this caliber. You'll love it!
I took a double-header Michael Barley/Andrea Guarino class a couple of years ago, and it was FANTASTIC. Both classes were incredibly informative and other than the specific glass reactions, all of the information was transferrable to Bullseye. Bullseye can actually be much more reactive than most people think... an awful lot of my beads that rely on glass reactions are Bullseye, actually.
DO IT DO IT. I have taken his class and it was one of the best, if not the best I have taken.
