I have the fine grade and it's a nice bright pink, but I'm having difficulty getting it to strike all over on the beads. I roll the bead once or twice and it's going on evenly, but when it's melted in, I'll strike and there are big white patches that won't restrike. I'm using Uroboros white as the base. Does the color in this stuff burn out that easily? I'm on a Bobcat.

Help please?? Thanks in advance! :)

The key to striking the "turns pink" frit seems to be to have the bead uniformly warm before letting it cool and then striking it... uniformity of the heat base before it cools prevents temperature variations that lead to one area of the bead overheating and losing color when you strike.

I hope that works for you!

Thanks, Kalera!

That makes a lot of sense to me, so I'll just have to slow down a bit. I work pretty fast, and that's probably why I mess up rubino too!
