Everyone who knows my bead style will know this- I'm a frit addict, and make lots of little beads with simple colors. Base color + a few rolls in frit = FAR beads. (frit and round)

So, now that I'm into boro, I still love to make the simple and really easy stuff for lazy people like me. 8-[ But I'm not so lazy that I won't be willing to mix canes for a base color. I made a cane of GA silver strike and clear, and put the amber purple frit over that. It turned out to be a light ivory beige with the purple frit. It was soooo pretty. I don't have a picture of this bead and I don't know where the hell it is....

Any other colors that would make a nice background for amber purple frit?

Any black or cobalt color will do. Preferably a black that doesn't reduce like mad, unless you encase it first.
Ruby/Elvis/Pomegranate/jasper is nice also.
