bobcat vs. minor

I'm thinking about buying a slightly used bobcat from a friend. I've worked on it a few times with a concentrator. I've aslo worked on a minor with tank O2. Using tank O2, is the bobcat going to run hotter or about the same as a minor?

it will be hotter quite a bit hotter and the flame is more focused :)

It's hotter, because the flame is more focused... more focus means more heat inside the flame. ;)

And a sharper "edge" to the heat. You can get closer to the visible flame and feel less heat.

Get the bobcat. I replaced my minor with a bobcat and now use it as a backup to my delta. It is a great little torch.
