I saw it when it was being built and then just a couple weeks ago at the Gathering where Milon Townsend was working boro with it on tanked oxy... he said he could even easily work thick boro rods on it with the bigger tip.

i like the price and the size just wondering if it would perform as nicely on a 5lpm concentrator or what other considerations i would have to take into account since this is a pre-mix rather than surface-mix torch...? I'd be switching between this and my Mega and i'm planning to start playing with boro.

oxy details: http://artistryinglass.on.ca/charts/oxygenrequirementsfortorches.html (scroll down to the Nortel section)
According to this chart it should work fine with my concentrator...

Anyone got any real life experience using it on a concentrator?

The Mini-Milon is similar to the National 3A. They are both pre-mix torches, and the tips are interchangeable.

For a chart explaining the gas and oxygen needs of the different National tips, click here (http://www.artcoinc.com/tip_pressure_and_flow_chart.pdf).
(you'll need to convert from cfm to lpm. Rough conversion: 1 lpm = 2 cfm)

Bottom line, with a 5 lpm concentrator, you can probably only go up to an OX-2 tip.
