I have an oxygen generator...have loved it...it is now a year old. It is having some problems. I called the company I bought it from and they were so nice and we seemed to have figured out what might be wrong. So what is happening is when I light my torch the oxygen and propane is not connecting so I don't get a flame. My husband tried something thinking there was humidity in the line...seemed to have worked for a bit...now we are back to square one. I need someone in Massachusetts who can fix this. I am not sure where to begin to look and no one seems to get back to me. Anyone know of anyone who fixes generators? I don't think a medical supply place would touch it! HELP! PLEASE!

This part in bold makes no sense. What kind of torch do you have? Can you light it with propane only? If so, what happens when you add the oxy? If it blows out, it is a purity problem, not a torch problem.

It is not my torch...that I know I even hooked up my second torch. I have a minor bench torch. When I turn on the gas you can light it. As you introduce the oxygen the flame....not sure the technical term but you are supposed to get those blue lines where the propane and oxygen connect....I get transparent flame and if you turn it up it blows out. According to the guy I spoke to there is a piece in the generator that makes it hot enough for both to connect. Hard to explain but it is the generator so it needs someone to replace what ever this part is. I hope I am making some kind of sense. I never had this issue when I rented tanks. The poor generator has not been serviced since I bought it. It is so frustrating..I can't make any beads :(

It sounds like perhaps you have a purity problem. Instead of adding oxygen to the flame, it sounds like you are adding air. Is your machine covered under a warranty?
