I read the Torch Tips and used a very oxygen rich flame, and all I got was brown yuck (although if you hold the beads to a strong light you can see the beautiful violet ...)
Any tips or help appreciated.
Else I will be making a lot more frit beads. Sigh.

Lynda would be the one to answer this for the best results, but, the times I have used it I used a neutral flame and worked it more toward the end of the flame.

I know this won't be any help but I find this striker one of the easiest--I work in my regular flame, no coaxing or babying and it is neverfail! :-\" Love it!
Yeah, regular flame. Love love the color!
Don't work it too hot, or especially not too hot in a thick layer. I've turned this an ugly color at least once overworking it.
Nice color and I use a neutral flame, plus strike it way out at the tip.
