anyone going or gone to GAS conference?

I heard about the Glass Arts Society ~ gas conference this past weekend. has anyone some first hand experience with this?

I haven't been- but it's on my maybe list. The man I took a hot shop class from goes and raves- he said it's something not to be missed if you have a choice.

The GAS conference is in St. Louis, so I'm sure I'll be volunteering at it. We're supposed to learn more about the conference through our local Lampworkers Society, so hopefully I can share more information as I get it.

Go to the Glass Art Society's webpage on the conference. I haven't gone to one yet but I hear it's coming to Pittsburgh which would be a closer city for me. It's a fabulous conference!

I went to the New Orleans one 2 years ago and loved it. Be sure to know what you want to see in advance though, there are so many things at the same time that if the locations are not close together you might miss a lot.
