Video tripod...umm

I just got my hands on a video tripod.....could i use it for taking bead pics ?

this is what it says on it.....vel-flo 10 ph-268R japan
Any info or tip would help.

If the threaded anchor fits camera so camera clamps to "head " of tripod, and you have "pan" (side to side motion) and "tilt" (up and down motion) and can adjust overall height of tripod, yes it will work....

Generally all tripods work the same whether for "still" pictures or "motion" pictures.

If they don't fit (the screws on the tripod are a different size than on the camera) then you can just purchase a cheap adapter for the screw size -- I think any camera shop should have them, but definitely a more "pro" camera shop will.

In general it should fit.
Using a tripod helps to get a clear, crisp photo because you'll get no movement at all and.....you won't have to hold your breath.

Thanks......My freind made me a plate with a with a camera screw that locks right down in to the head of the tripod.
