Coming Soon: Glass Dolls Tutorial!

Hi Y'all!

After showing my first two movable "Glass Dolls" in Gallery, I've decided I simply MUST do a Tutorial on these so you, too, can make them! :koolaid: Thanks so much to everyone who commented!

It will probably take a few weeks to put together and present, but I wanted to put this here so I can keep you updated and announce it when it's ready! Of course with the Holidays practically upon us, that's just a guess-ta-mate time line, but hopefully not too much off the mark.

Just a head's up...I would consider these to be an "intermediate" level project; not to deter anyone who wants to purchase the Tutorial and try it, but just sayin'.... :cool:

De do we have to have somekind of special mandrel or anything. I see you have a hole running down the body's (head to bottom )and also holes running across the body's (legs and arms)? Can't wait the are awesome! :)

De, I had the same idea when I saw the Deb's bear tutorial. I mistook her dots of silver for being joints like the ones you have done.

Awww, I'd wondered if everyone lost interest! :lol: I will consider revisiting it, so thanks for your inquiry Aleta! :)

I've gone back to a full-time job ( :( and :) ). It's a very long drive, long days and my evenings are filled with cooking dinner, catching up on laundry, housework, etc. My weekends, similarly, get the "family first" then I try and squeeze in a little torching and authoring. It may be a while but I'm thinking maybe this would be fun after all!
