Irene,

I have this kiln with a Orton Sentry Xpress controller. I wish I had this Bartlett because it allowes for 4 programs. I do like my Orton and it's easy to use once someone helped me figure it out. Please compare how many programs each controler has and how many segements for each program.

Good luck with your purchase!

I believe they offer the same number of programs and segments but are just made by different manufacturers. Paula

Paula, My Orton is one program. I have learned to live with it, but it sure would be nice to have at least 3 programs.

Maybe that is just your model? Jen-Ken told me they were interchangable but I agree that life is easier with 4 programs...Paula

I have the JenKen kiln with the bead annealer door and says the controller is also a Jen Ken it has 4 programs - 8 segments each. There was a big learning curve as far as programming it.The controller is exactly like the Orton. Happy with it now. Pam
