Hello, I am new to lampworking and while most of the ends of my beads are fine I still get those bad ends on them. I have been using a bead hole diamond dresser with a ball end from Arrow Springs which has worked for those small problems but need help with the ones that are larger. Do I need to invest in one of those wet grinders or can I use a Dremel? I have read threads about cleaning beads with a Dremel but did not know if it would work for my problem. Right now I just clean beads with a reamer. Do I really need to clean them with a Dremel or one of those electric bead cleaners like I see that Frantz has? Thanks Rita

Hi Rita,
With more practice, your bead ends will get better. At least mine did. Ideally, you would just need to use the reamer to clean bead release out of the holes, so I wouldn't think it would be worthwhile to invest in a grinder for this reason. Hope this helps.
