I took possession of my new house/studio yesterday so you are getting the before shots right from the beginning. The movers show up on Sunday and I need to get the place painted!!!
There was a 750 sqft addition added onto the rancher I bought, as a beauty salon. Now I am turning it into a lampworking studio and gallery. There are 4 shots of the actual studio, a pic of the office (white room with boxes), the sitting area with gas fire place (yucky teal carpet) and the stained glass doors that separate the living area from the studio...oh yeah there is also a power room.
The ongoing saga......stay tuned ;)

just a few more......
Wow, what a beautiful place you have! I can't wait to see what you do with the space! (My mother-in-law had that same carpet throughout her house, including the bathrooms!)

I don't mind the teal carpet... It's kind of an oceany combo with the tan walls. AMAZING studio space, though! How perfect!!!! Congratulations!!!

Congratulations what a great place!
I could live with carpet like that if it meant getting to have that much space for my studio.

Wow, very nice space! Hey, make sure you keep the two sinks where they are. That way if you have a party and some of your fellow lampworkers drink a little too much, they have a comfortable place to rest their heads. (Sure beats the edge of the toilet seat.)

That is really nice. I would really love to have a studio. But a bedroom is all that is available right at the moment. Oh how I wish. You take care and have fun moving into your new home and studio.

I managed to set up my torch and kiln and my shelving for cane. I have unpacked most of the living area of the house. I feel so cooked and sore!!! I also managed to paint and setup my new boudoir (going for the sexy look). Pics tomorrow-bed now!!!

Great space!!! Would love to see more pics when it is done.
Lucky woman!!! Yes, keep the sinks. In a pinch you can make extra money doing people's hair.

Okay I have some updated pics....
I have 2 torches set up now but I have to extend my bench so I can install my 3rd.
Glass storage is being created, it still needs to be filled up!
The boutique area is a work in progress and still needs organizing and staging but it is getting there.
My fav part of the studio is my "Wall of Fame"
