The possibilities of fuming...

I just wanted to show everyone what's possible when fume is applied to glass by expert hands...

All the color in that bracelet comes from fuming silver, gold, and a combination of both.

Kenan Tiemeyer (www.tiemeyerglass.com) made that bracelet for me. Well, actually Amanda has it now. I got another one from him a while back to give to Amanda, and kept it myself. You should see some of his new work. I took some photos of his new work for him yesterday, and while the photos look good, they can't even begin to compare to how good they look in real life...

sweet is good or silver fume? Is the picture taken with any kind of special lighting or does it always look like that?

They are all taken with just regular $8 flood lights I got from Lowe's. The blue/white colors come from silver, and the pink/gold comes from gold.

There is color used in the second bracelet and the inside out bead, but the first bracelet and pendant are all colored just with fuming (except for the black on the back).
