kugler colors

I'm looking at options for new colors since I'm still pretty new to this- anyone use kugler colors? They have great colors for hot glass- but i don't see much about them in lampworking.

I've been using them since I went nuts and apparently bought "one of each" in Tucson. I'm using the System 96-compatible cane and I LOVE it! Favorite colors are: Opaline (milky white), Alabaster (even thinner white), Reddish Aurora, Cherry Red, Lava Red (OMG, where has this been all my life????), Mandarin, and Old Gold. It's wonderful to work with. Oh, their lead-free clear is fantastic, too.

I just got my first kugler order a couple of days ago and like the colors I've tried so far. They are stiffer working than Effetre/Moretti, but seem nice and consistent so far. Highly pigmented. The lead-free clear needs to be worked quite cool compared to the colored glass....and I'm iffy on whether I like the transparent black yet. But all the colors I've used so far have been nice.

Darnitall Paula, I am on a 30day no-buy till I pay my property taxes....lalalala - I can't hear you! Everything I want seems to be taunting me ever since this dreaded no-buy began a few days ago!

Haha Melisssa. I have the same HUGE property tax bill coming up! I was just at the grocoery store buying hot dogs and beans for the next month!
Btw, I got my Olympic delivery on a Friday~~ and the sale notice on Sunday. So I missed it totally..Paula
