Boro and Silver foil?

Can you use silver foil with boro glass? I can't get any silver to show up. I am doing it just like I do with 104 glass but can't get any to show up in my marbles. Any help would be great.

Sure, it works. Not quite like it does in 104 glass though.
In my experience, the heat required to work boro sizzles the silver and it kind of fumes and stuff. If I use a lot, I get a bunch of little silver balls stuck to the glass with fuming around it. A little bit yields a yellow-blue fumed effect.
If the silver is disappearing, try reducing the piece a bit and it should reappear.
I haven't gotten it to stay looking like silver foil like it can in 104. Keep experimenting!

Thanks, I thought maybe I was just burning it off... I will keep trying I want it to have that crackeled look like you can get it 104... Maybe If I cover it before working it too much... I'm still really new to all this but I'll keep playing...Just hate to keep waisting silver..
