Blowing Vessels

I have a question, and not sure if someone could help me.

I am having problems with blowing my vessels. I am sure it is user error and having a hard time determining what is my problem(s). I put the glass at the base, and then I try to lightly blow and I always have a pop out of glass that pops the vessel...then I tried to blow less air and plug the end, but really had no expansion thus no real vessel.

Is there any tutorial online that anyone knows about? I sure could use some help 8-[ !!

I've seen a few threads on this topic recently either here or on WC - search for 'blowing' or 'vessels'. What I recall is that you basically have to wind a hollow vessel off the end of the hollow mandrel first.

Also the temperature is a big culprit of "blow-outs" If it's too hot in one spot - that'll be the place for a blowout.
