Holy crap! I know you have to work these rods higher in the flame but I was making a bead with this as the base and it just started blowing apart after I had already heated up the rod and was in the middle of winding it onto the mandrel. Is this common in this glass? I have a rod of the 504 white and it didn't do this at all, in fact I made a really nice bicone out of it. I don't think I'll use that yellow rod again. Too bad too because I like that color. Just a very subtle yellow tint. Hm...
