I have a quick ? with my oxycon. I ran it today for the first time. It ran good but I noticed that it runs hot. Is that normal? I am in Arizona in an unconditioned studio, prob. 95 degrees and little humid, after my torch session I walked barefoot(bad) to turn off concentrator and the tiles underneath were very warm. Is it just working harder because of the temps? Filter is clean, and oxycon is not near anything.
thanks.

Quite probably - oxy con's are designed to be used in conditioned spaces, where the temperature is even and low humidity.

If I were you, I'd really consider moving the unit to a conditioned area and just using a longer hose to reach your workstation.
