View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : OK,What about before they reach the kiln...
You know the type of day....you sit down at the torch, full of ideas and new colour combinations..and can't even produce a spacer bead. If its not the bead release breaking, it's total loss of stringer control, wonky ends, uneven beads, crappy colours and then.......the one perfect bead you did make cracks before you reach the kiln!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT IS THIS? There must be a name for it or is it just the glass gremlins messing with us.
Please tell me others suffer from the GOD I HATE GLASS DAYS>

You are definitely not alone! I have those days far more often than I would like.

I have a lovely thing called Dermatomyositis...Don't look it up on webmd, it is not a pleasant description! :hide:
Somedays it makes my hands shake so bad I drop everything I touch...I don't get to "play" very often yet, but let me tell you...when I have to schedule torch time a month in advance and then have "one of those days"...Err Arrgh!
Just be glad it's "Gremlins" and not something that affects the non-glass areas of your life too!
Hang in there, you'll have a spectacular day soon!
