Don't be nervous, it will be a lot of fun. Even more fun with a few glasses of wine. Then you can do a demo or two for the adoring public :razz:

It’s an opening party, so there has to be an after party!! Um, but it could be kinda low key. Like dinner or munchies somewhere nearby.

It would be cool to have a pre-opening melt fest.

There has been some talk of a get-together before the Molten Obsessions opening on Thursday, September 1st. You are all welcome to hang out at my studio before the opening and play on the torches if you like, say from about 2pm on… the opening starts at 5pm. Out-of-towners are welcome to change at my studio. (sorry, there's no shower) Oh boy, I hope Vancouver is ready for all the excited beadmakers!

I tried to post this on Lampwork Etc but can't seem to register so I hope you guys all check out this forum too...

I'll bring a bunch and we can trade madly. Some big oldies and some newer small beads. All tagged with a string and label. Or bagged with a business card. Nothing worse than a nice pile of beads with no clue as to who made them.
