View Full Interactive Version Of This Page : Need help with ordering glass
Hey guys! How've you all been?
I have a bit of situation here and in need of your help. I'm making a new big order at my favorite shop, but they have a limit of 300$ on orders to Ukraine. Right now they have a sale on shipping and I was hoping to get in on that, but my order exceeds the restriction rate. I was wondering if maybe someone could pick my order up at frantzartglass and send it to me? I'll pay you in any convenient method for the shipping. And I'd be eternally greatful :)
Update: I'm so not paying attention! I just read on their website in the Shipping section that the restriction was set by the USPS! Do you maybe know why? I don't want to cut loose any of my glass from the order :(
Can't you just make 2 orders a day apart, and ship both orders separate?
Ask a fellow lampworker in your town or a relative, etc to place the 2nd order. IMO your request follows the typical request that scammers make. You are most likely 100% on the up and up, but it just comes across as raising red flags.

It probably has to do with customs/taxes? The best solution is probably to place two seperate orders - bonus, this way if you're ordering any colors that have limits, you can get twice as much! :D
Thanks for your answers guys :)
Well yeah, Ukraine does have an incoming limit of a package value before you need to pay the border tax, but that's not it, it's some USPS restriction.
I asked all my lampworkers in my town (there's three) and they all have enough glass and didn't order for a long time.
Oh, And the two orders thing - I'd lost a lot on shipping.
Sorry this looks like a scam people, thanks for your help :) I'll try to figure something out, maybe order from two different shops. But I'll still lose a lot on delivery :D

Would it be cheaper to order from the UK? I'm not sure how shipping works. I just know it's a fortune regardless sometimes.

Why don't you ask your local post office, I'm sure they can advise you.
I thought about the UK shops, but the pound price is even bigger :)
Guys, thank you everybody for the input - I decided to order from a store in a neighbour country, which I thought had to high prices, but considering shipping costs it's even cheaper.
Thank you all!
