I think there was a thread in here about everyone's favorite glass colors a few months ago. I have done a couple of searches and cannot find it so I am posing the question again. What colors do you just  love  to use? Tell me what your favorite glass colors are!!

Thanks!!

Donna

There's only one color I'm not so fond of. Yellow ocher that looks like gulden's spicy brown sort of. Can't get into it.

I probably use more Dark Ivory than anything else, but a couple of my absolute favorites are Ink Blue, and Ink Blue Purple. :)

I am pretty much with Deb. I have yet to meet a color I really didn't like. If I had to whittle it down to the colors I could not live without they would be (in no particular order):
Ink Blue
Cobalt
Intense Black
EDP
Opal Yellow
Silver Pink
Copper Green
Ivory (Dark and Light)
All of the ambers
Rubino
White
All of the corals
Purle Red
New Violet
Dark Transparent Lavender
Opaque Lavender
Uranium Yellow (transparent and opaque)
Dark Turquoise
Lapis Cobalt (opaque).
Striking Red
Striking Orange
Tongue Pink
Powder Pink
Transparent Sage
Nile Green

I know I have forgotten some

ivory, dk ivory, turquoise, opaque navy blue (not sure what the real name is) and lastly clear for how flexible it can be as base for various enamels.

My new favorite color is Silver Pink! I've never really taken the time to play with it until this week and absolutley love it. I couldn't belive all the pink and peach colors that I pulled out of it, and with silver foil, yummy.

I am with Deb --I love just about every color I can get my grubby paws on\\:D/

except Northstar Blueberry. Now THAT is a color that is almost unloveable......Gorgeous color--complete and total shatter city even when used with just clear.
As a newbie it was one of my first purchases. I bought it 'cause it was labeled experimental and I love to experiment. I wrapped some Amber Purple around a base bead and stuck it in the kiln. It came out looking like someone pulverized it and glued it back together again. So I did a test and wrapped a small glob with clear and let it cool on the rod rest. KABLAM! glass shot out at least 6 feet in every direction--I got a good shard stuck in my arm and was totally shocked.....I didn't know glass could explode with such force! I put away my boro for a good long time until I learned that boro did not normally do that! LOL! I'll still make spacers with it....so it is still somewhat loveable....but not as loveable as most.

My current favs are copper green and red copper green. I also love rubino. Cobalt and all the aqua colors are fun, too.

I love 'em all, but the ones I feel especially "cozy" with are:

petroleum green,
dark turquoise,
dark ivory,
purple red,
EDP
intense black,
rubino
trans. cobalt,
emerald green
and trans red.

And LOTS of clear - I love it even though I don't have the good stuff. :)

And of course you need some basic white and normal black.

With just these colours I could probably make a lot of stuff I would like. But I like to have a full palette... And I like a few odd colours like ink blue, opal yellow, silver plum, red roof tile, the copper greens... What I *don't* have is a lot of furnace glass.. I've been trying to learn all the fun Moretti reactions but I think I might break down and branch out soon, just 'cause there's some stuff that Moretti can't do. :)
