I've put together a new Paypal shopping cart on my StrikingColor Glass website (http://strikingcolor.com/summer_sale.html) to experiment with selling some glass directly off there, rather than through Etsy or Artfire. Things are pretty basic right now while I try to figure out how to implement more than just the simplest of buying options. Because of that, the cane I have on the website for the moment is in full pound quantities only. Also, I haven't yet figured out how to make Paypal automatically do flat rate shipping. So in order to at least get the thing running and live tested ASAP, shipping will be free on any orders placed for the next week or so. Or until I do figure out how to implement flat rates - whichever comes first.
In addition to the limited time free shipping, I am also extending the 10% June discount I was offering, to the remainder of the summer. The listed prices reflect the discount.
There is a very limited amount of glass listed, just in case things don't go as smoothly as expected. (It's easier to correct just a few botched orders than a bunch of them.) So it's first come, first served for this particular deal. Once the glass is gone, or I've figured out how to add the correct shipping, the free shipping ends. But if you miss out on free shipping you'll at least have another chance at the glass. I'll be posting more of the same glass cane in a week or so, after people get back from The Gathering. I don't want to post it all now and have some of my most loyal customers miss out because they were out of town.
