Can anyone show me examples of beads they have made with Dk. Silver Plum, please? :?:

Also, how do I work this glass?

Thanks in advance,
~Lynn

When I work it I just work it like normal glass and when I want the nice silvery effect hold it in the end of the flame for a little bit

For some reason I only use it for dots. and some stringer detail.

Here's some I made with DSP

I really like this glass. I'm working it like any other glass except that when I'm done with the bead, I let it cool for about 4-5 sec and I flash it back and forth into a oxygen flame * more oxygen than propane*

Work like a charm for me

I like to use it on the ends of my beads, but it's a glass that holds it's shape really well, so it works great for sculpting, too.

It's on the ends of this bead. I reduce it to get the oil-slick rainbow effect (not sure how well the oil-slick rainbow shows on this photo, but the rainbow itself can be pretty dramatic).

And that's why I love this glass.

If you use it with Effetre yellow 418, you get a ring of lighter purple. Squint real hard, and you might be able to see it in this pic. I really like playing with those 2 colors together.
