Okay everyone. Let's try this again.
I'm going to start a box, and we'll hope it doesn't get lost this time.
The only "rules" I'm going to impose are these:
1. E-mail me your name, address (no P.O. Boxes) and phone number - chad@soleiletlune.com. Don't PM me. I want to be able to keep them all together in one place. Put BORO BOX in the subject line. BE SURE TO INCUDE YOUR LAMPWORK ETC. SCREEN NAME.
2. Don't keep the box more than one week (7 days) unless you let me know ahead of time. If you know you are not going to be in town, or have something coming up that will prevent you from getting it out quickly, let me know when you send me your info, and I'll schedule accordingly.
3. Insure the box for at least $200 when you ship it out, and e-mail me the tracking number when you do. When the box is headed to you, I'll e-mail you with the tracking number and the address of the next person.
4. Put back as much as you take out. No, I'm not worried about the values matching up to the cent, but if you take out 10 rods of color, don't replace it with a bag of frit. Everyone has been involved in something like this before, so just play nice.
5. You don't have to post what you took out/put in, but you are welcome to if you want. On another board, we hosted a box and we put in a small notebook. Everyone wrote in the book what they took out and what they put in, and wrote a little something in there if they felt like it. We're going to do that again, but it's optional. You don't have to write anything.
6. I would like to ask that everyone put in a gift for the next person. It should be something finished. A bead, a pendant, a marble, etc. Doesn't have to be something large, or something fancy. Just something you think the next person will enjoy. And, while it would be nice if it was something you made, you can put in something someone else made, just as long as it's made of glass.
I'll give everyone until August 12 to get their info sent in. That also corresponds with the end of the boro bulk buy I'm hosting. I want to get that done before I start this (plus, I'll have plenty of new glass to put in).
